The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong 香港善導會 92 VOLUNTEERS SERVICES TEAMS Our volunteers services teams are formed by community people, service users and corporate volunteers. We have accumulated over 870 volunteers at present. In 2018, we were delighted to have different institutions, including 4 colleges and universities, 1 corporate company and as well as 26 non-profit organisations to join our volunteer teams. The total annual number of volunteer service hours was 20,154. Also, there were 15 and 88 volunteers received the Gold and Bronze award respectively from the Social Welfare Department for the service hours they contributed. We organised large-scale festive events and group activities in correctional institutions to show care to inmates and enable them to have interaction with the outside world. Our volunteer teams also assisted social workers at Magistrate Courts, helping people who awaited trial and their families to relieve stress and render emotional support. Prison visit escort service was provided and birthday parties were held to help prisoners and ex-offenders maintain closer ties with their children. Crime prevention education programmes were organised to prevent inter- generational crime. Other voluntary activities included events for persons in mental recovery to facilitate their reintegration and justice education programmes for young people to develop proper civic awareness. The community volunteers teams also actively supported our large-scale corporate events such as fundraising activities. By the cooperation of volunteers, we together develop an inclusive society. 義工服務團隊 義工團隊由 3 個群體組成，包括：社區人士、服 務使用者及企業義工，累計義工人數超過 870 人。本會於二零一八年與 30 間機構合作組成義 工隊，當中包括 4 所大專院校、 1 所企業公司及 26 所非牟利機構。集合義工的努力，全年義工 時數共有 20,154 小時，而當中分別有 15 名及 88 名義工獲得社會福利署的義工時數金獎及銀 獎。 服務範疇包括：前往懲教院所協辦大型節慶活 動及小組活動，關愛在囚人士，增加他們與外 界的聯繫。此外，協助各區裁判法院社工為候 審人士及其家人處理他們的擔憂及困難，給予 情緒抒解，亦會提供探監接送服務和舉辦生日 會，促進在囚或更生人士與子女的關係；並舉 辦預防犯罪教育活動，預防跨代犯罪。其他義 工服務包括：為精神復元人士舉辦活動，加強 共融成果；協助舉辦公義教育活動，幫助青少 年建立良好公民意識；參與本會大型活動，例 如籌款活動等等。透過義工合作及彼此交流， 促進真正的社會共融。 年度重點 Highlights of the Year 在義工嘉許禮上，義工們一同分享喜悅 Volunteers shared their joy in the Volunteer Award Ceremony
