We assist service users in re-establishing proper work habits and attitudes that are essential for open employment using different service modules and intervention approaches.

Scope of Services
 

Employment Development Unit (EDU) and Employment Enhancement Unit (EEU)

EDU and EEU provides case follow-up and referral services for ex-offenders to assist them with job search.

Vocational Training Programme in Correctional Institutions

The programme provides skills training, personal attributes training, individual counseling and post-release employment counseling and follow-up service for prisoners soon to be discharged.

Employment Rehabilitation Centre

The centre provides temporary job placements in a workshop setting for ex-offenders and the unemployed.

ERB Manpower Development Scheme

Latest Courses

ERB offers job specific skill courses, as well as provides job counseling for all eligible employees aged 15 or above and with education attainment of sub-degree or below. Moreover, ERB will provide tailor-made programmes and job referral service for participating employers.

Supported Employment Service

The service provides employment counseling, training, job placement and post-placement, job matching, support service for ex-mentally ill service users aged 15 or above.

Adventure-based programme
   

Leading to Independence and Vocational Enhancement Project (LIVE) and Microfinance Scheme (MF)

LIVE and MF provides service users with entrepreneurship training, funding support, guidance and assistance, and support service, offering them a choice to start their own business other than employment.

Sunnyway- On-the-Job Training Programme for Young People with Disabilities

The service provide training, job attachment, job trial, counselling and post-placement support for young people with disabilities ages 15 to 29.

Application and Withdrawal
 
Service users could obtain the service through referral made by any SRACP service unit, Social Welfare Department, Correctional Services Department or other agencies. The service is provided on a voluntary basis. Service users could apply for termination of service. On the other hand, the staff could also terminate the service upon professional judgment and mutual agreement made with the service users.
