Jockey Club “Quality Family Time through Play” Project Service / Community Education & Volunteer Service

Introduction

The Jockey Club “Quality Family Time through Play” Project is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. In addition to providing toy borrowing services, the Project pays attention to quality family time. Through the reward scheme, workshops and social media platforms, parents and children are encouraged to communicate and play more to enhance parent-child relationships. The Project recruits community members as part-time supporters to assist in the day to day running. They acquire skills via a series of trainings to become a peer supporter to families and support them in fostering quality family time.
